Frequently asked questions
The questions pet owners usually ask before their first booking with Kim.
Is a meet and greet required?
Yes, and it is complimentary. Before any booking, Kim meets you and your pet to go through the routine, feeding, allergies, training, medication, play, walks and favourite activities, plus home access, emergency contacts, your veterinarian's information and the paperwork. Booking follows once everyone is comfortable.
What is the cancellation policy?
Regular services need 24 hours notice. Vacation and overnight bookings need seven days notice. Late-cancellation fees may apply.
Which payment methods are accepted, and when is payment due?
E-transfer, PayPal and cash. Payment is due at the time of service, or in advance for scheduled bookings. Deposits may be required for extended vacation bookings, and regular clients may arrange weekly or monthly payment.
Is there a holiday surcharge?
Yes. A $10 per day surcharge applies on statutory holidays.
What happens in an emergency?
Your emergency contacts and your veterinarian's information are gathered at the meet and greet before any booking, so Kim knows exactly who to call and where to go if something comes up.
